One of the fun things you can do with blogs is called tagging. It's kind of like sending a chain letter, but more entertaining.
I've been tagged by our friend CWH. I'm supposed to pick up the nearest book, turn to page 123, find the fifth sentence, and then type out the next three sentences into my blog. Then I'm supposed to tag five more people.
Grad school burned me out of reading and, with a couple exceptions, I haven't read a book over 123 pages in a long time. My current literary interests lie in books that George can't destroy or eat. The nearest book is The Nose Book by Al Perkins.
Turning to a random page (since there aren't 123 pages in the book), we find...
"A nose is good for making holes....in trees"
Deep thoughts, indeed. I'm choosing to not specifically tag anyone, but feel free to consider yourself tagged if you'd like to play along.
In George news, we had a very full day today. We went to visit some friends after work and ended up spending all day with them. George even took a nap while we were visiting - he's never done that before as he's usually too excited with whatever we are doing to even think about sleep. Then this evening we went out for dinner with some other friends (coincidentally, relatives of CWH). George was pretty wiggly at dinner, but that was to be expected after his full day of excitement. He ran round and round outside the restaurant exploring the landscaping before settling down at the table to devour a basket of chips.
